Elisabeth Louise Vigee-Lebrun (1755-1842)


From a self portrait. Elisabeth was one of the best known and most fashionable  portraitist in 18th century France; her clients included the Queen Marie Antionette, whose portrait she painted 30 times. Sold.

Andrew Robertson ((1777-1845)


Andrew was one of the finest Scottish miniature painters. This is from a self portrait. he worked in London most of his life and was the appointed miniature painter to the Duke of Essex. Sold.

Sara Goodridge (1788-1853)


This is from a self portrait. Sara was a leading miniaturist in Boston. She's now infamous for a miniature portrait of her breast, naming it "Beauty Revealed", that she had presented to a lover and that is now at the permanent collection of the Met in NY. Sold
